How this website was created
The Cloud 9 website was created in good faith for the benefit of members wearing the club name of Cloud 9 Birkenhead from past, present and future, as a result of a member of the public requesting to share historical photos online, as they did not use social media.
Reinstating the website enabled the club to be traced easily on search engines on any device.
The Cloud 9 Birkenhead scooter club brand
This website ensures the safeguarding of the club’s brand identity since it began in 1974, when ‘Cloud 9 Chester’ agreed we could use the same name, but change ‘Chester’ to ‘Birkenhead’. There have been various visual logos invented over the years, but the name ‘Cloud 9’ has always remained, and belongs to Birkenhead.
You can quite often find our members on the dancefloor singing our anthem, The Temptations: ‘Cloud Nine’!
