Woven patch 8cm x 8cm, iron-on, celebrating Storm the Fort in 2025 on its 25th anniversary of Cloud 9’s annual Father’s Day ride to New Brighton’s Fort Perch Rock.

Storm the Fort is a Father’s Day rideout originally organised by Manchester’s Lazy Aces scooter club to New Brighton, adopted by Cloud 9 Birkenhead as a weekend camping rally in 2000 as part of the ‘New Brighton Experience’. Ever since then, the event has been a Father’s Day rideout to the fort from clubs in and around the north west of England and Wales.

This year we opened our invite out to all 2-wheels, as we, and the scene grow older – our biker brothers and sisters often ride with Cloud 9 on rideouts, events, funerals and as marshals.

At this year’s event, the Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes attended with their motorbike stall to raise awareness of the amazing free service they provide to the area – providing blood, milk, prescription, swabs, documents and equipment on their solo bike runs to hospitals, hospices, blood transfusion units and blood banks.
